Any of you on my youtube channel will have seen the many variants of the 2014/Series 8 theme I produced and this was the last of the bunch that I considered to be an attempt at making an accurate remake of it (with anything following being for funsies). While Gold makes some good advancements with the overall sound (except maybe the shrieky melody), there is that one glaring bit of notation that brings down the overall quality of the theme, for me at least.
