I have been remixing the Who Theme for 4 years and this is my latest attempt.
I get a feel that I tried to do too much with this remix, but it grew on me. This remix was an attempt to create some atmosphere with the theme. Most remixes tend to be 'jaunty' bits of music, I wanted to try and make this one an ambient piece (hence the name). I used a stereo echo effect to create the base line echo. I also used a distort effect on the main melody line. This remix was created using a Yahamaha CS1x. This Synth is mainly a dance synth, and so I was quite pleased to get this remix out of it. Also, look NO DRUMS! |
