Inspired by the 'Synthesising Starfields' feature on The Leisure Hive dvd, I decided to use the same techniques described therein to create another of my remixes. I decided to try and use my Yamaha CS1x to try and make sounds similar to those shown in the feature. The result is a sort of strange sound-a-like that is recognisably Doctor Who but with none of Mr Howell's brilliance and atmosphere. Hence the reason I named it Counterfeit. This is the 1 minute closing titles version. |
