I made this mix on my Yamaha PSR-1000. I took my insipration
from several of the existing themes. The bass is a slightly spiced up
version of the Delaware theme, and the oo-ee-oooooo is a variation on the
Howell version. The wee-wah-woo or bingy-bong or whatever is a bit like the
Glynn version. And the sweeping chords in the background are the same sort
of pattern as the Gold theme. Then I recorded it and added sound effects.
The opening sting is the sound effect of the Dalek gun with a Doppler effect
added and with the sound “thinned” with an equaliser. And I honestly can’t
remember how I made the closing sting.
