This is based on the last 1980s theme produced by Keff McCulloch but with a much softer approach although remaining dark & spooky. Used lots of pads, a traditional and modern dual bass sound, delay, unison, & reverb for mastering. The “static whoosh slide” opens and ends it nicely. I fell in love with the Keff McCulloch theme with it’s nice bass techno sound and always loved the Middle Eight Section of this version. I was torn between this and the brass section in TRIAL OF A TIME LORD sequence (prior to this theme) so it was a hard decision to make.
