The bassline is made up from a combination of the throbbing bass sound used in Expectations and the main bassline used in Counterfeit. As a result the remix is rather bass heavy, so watch your speakers!
Most of the main melody sounds were taken from Expectations. Both main melody lines were tweaked to make them sound slightly more organic and a sound effect was dubbed over the main melody line to add a bit more depth to the sound. The middle part (in the closing theme) is the same sound as used in expectations with a harmony line dubbed over the top. A slight distortion was also added to fill the sound out slightly. The closing 'scream' is the Derbyshire version with a pitch change and flanger applied to it (to make it sound like a bit more like howell's version) and the end explosion is lifted from howell's stereo version. |
