When I heard the series was returning earlier this year, I threw this one together. This theme is essentially an orchestral (w/ synth bass line) version of the classic theme. The piccolo trumpet carries most of the melodic line, but it does get passed around to the other sections as the piece progresses. There are brief nods to other versions (1980, 1996, 2005) in the piece. Of note is a brief “soft section” for harp and woodwinds where I dropped out the bass completely, just for some variety.
